Our first winter in the desert has been beautiful as I re-coup my lungs from the deadly bout with Cov2. Gigging out in the Quail Creek Community (Robson Properties) in Jan. and Feb. and March have been great. So many from the Midwest hanging out. Still hoping for a few more properties to play at before we head north, but I’ll for sure be up in Old Scottsdale the last two Saturdays in March with some new seasoned players I’ve never met:)
Still looking for dates with Hacienda del Sol and Lowes Resort before I leave. Come on guys ! There are also opportunities for my Billy Joel and Tony Bennett tributes on the table at the theaters in the desert, and I’m excited to bring that down here.
Like everywhere, Cost of Goods and finding Labor is just killing the F&B industry and burning out all those who serve us and have invested in this industry. Here’s to hoping we can find some solutions as Americans that will help us accomplish our dreams and goals without obstruction and penalty. Stay Strong, Stay Free, Stay Healthy.
2021 Was a very good year in the Vineyards.
Proud to announce Craig T & Meritage will be spending our third season every Friday in Minnesota at the beautiful Sovereign Estate Winery on the banks of Lake Waconia.
Outdoors under the stunning Glass Pavilion overlooking the Estate Vineyards and Lake Waconia, I will be singing and playing on my Grand with an even larger lineup this year and a few special guests.
My BILLY JOEL IS BACK…
I began doing Billy Joel Tributes in my club acts in 1978 with Yanni as my second keyboard player in the group “Sheer Delight”. (Now that sounds like a disco-era band title, and it was).
I do the intimate solo piano look at Billy’s Career but now for the first time in 40 years, I’ve put a band back together to celebrate his catalog that I love. Billy is the GOAT, so get tickets to a few select shows around the country this year and enjoy a bottle of red… or a bottle of white, with us.
Circa:1981. Frankfurt W.Germany. ****Park Hotel. 3 months, 6 nights a week at the piano. Sporting my first Billy Joel teeshirt from the fan club, and my daughter wears it today :).
Stay tuned for an occasional Acoustic guitar date in 2021
If I book one, I’ll be playing all my folk and country favorites.
James Taylor, Paul Simon, John Denver, Michael Johnson, Cat Stephens, Eagles,
Glen Campell, Bread, CSNY, Garth, Mavericks, Dan Seals, Brooks & Dunn, Vince Gill,
Clint Black, George Strait, some old Cowboy tunes
as well as some of my country tunes from Nashville.
Ok, here’s one of my old fav. Michael Johnson tunes from my living room.
FALL / WINTER 2021
Well, stay tuned for news about our fall winter lineup. If you’re a snowbird, you just might be seeing me on the East Coast GA/Florida line this fall. More details and dates to come. Hint: Could be a solo grand piano gig, a three week Christmas show with the band, and perhaps a Billy Joel “VintageBIlly New Years Bash” on an Island with room packages available.
This will be followed by select dates from Jan.-March in the Tucson AZ region.
And after that I’ll be looking like this in Montana for awhile.
