Jane and I were up to Old Scottsdale with friends for dinner last week. Marcellino and his wife Sima have had this gem for 18 years. Survived the COV restaurant killer mandates, now the staffing, wage, and inflation issues, and just keep grinding.
They have Jazz for those dining with them Thursdays and Saturdays. Would love my homeboys from Minneapolis to be playing but the numbers just don’t make that possible. So I’ve found a few stellar players from Pheonix and we had a blast.
Thanks to Felix Sainz and Andrew Gross for making music with me the last few weekends. Looking forward to the future and future gigs with you as well as sharing water on some trout streams with flyrods:)
